400-point Quyu dyeing method
All secrets can't be told, only red dye is said here.

1, coloring process

The jadeite raw stone to be colored is put into a closed container for degassing treatment, and then the pre-prepared coloring liquid with the required coloring tone is injected into the container. After standing for 2-3 hours, the stone is taken out for cleaning and drying. Then, the stone is heated to 300-400 degrees, with constant temperature of 1-3 hours, and then naturally cooled to room temperature. Finally, the stone surface is treated with paraffin (silicone treatment agent). During the above operation, the contents of ferrous and trivalent iron in the coloring solution and the process control conditions can be changed as needed, and the color tone can be adjusted to make the grayish white or light jadeite colored or red, brown, yellow, chestnut, brown and other colors. The coloring depth of the color can reach more than 5 mm

2. Coloring solution and its preparation

The coloring substances are ferrous salt, trivalent salt and aluminum salt, with ferrous salt as the main one. The ferrous salt can be ferrous nitrate, ferrous sulfate, ammonium ferrous sulfate, ferrous chloride, etc. The iron salt can be ferric nitrate, ferric chloride, etc. The aluminum salt can be aluminum nitrate, aluminum chloride, etc. The solvent is water or organic solvent, and the organic solvent is alcohol.

The surfactant can be ionic or nonionic surfactant, fluorine surfactant, polymer surfactant, etc. Alkylbenzene sulfonates and polyoxyethylene alkyl alcohol ethers are suitable.

The ferrous iron content in the coloring solution should be in the range of 0.6%-6.5%, and the ferric iron content should be in the range of 0.0 1%-0.20%.

Preparation process: Ferrous salt, iron salt and aluminum salt are dissolved in water or organic solvent, and a proper amount of surfactant is added to form a jade coloring liquid with strong permeability.
