All the treasures buried in Jingling were stolen, and the bones of Emperor Kangxi and Empress Dowager were scattered in the underground palace, which was terrible.

The thief's mouth in Jingling Underground Palace was not sealed until 1952 Qing Dongling Cultural Relics Preservation Center was established. In order to protect the Jingling underground palace and the remains of Emperor Kangxi, the relevant departments decided to temporarily close the Jingling underground palace to tourists after cleaning it up.

1995 to 1996, the Qing Dongling Cultural Relics Management Office completely renovated the ground buildings in Jingling, and basically restored the historical original appearance of the ground buildings in Jingling.
