Quzhou is a prefecture-level city in Zhejiang Province. It is a famous cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of 1800 years. It has always been the marginal transportation hub and material distribution center of Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces, and is known as the "thoroughfare of the four provinces and the first of the five roads".

Quzhou is located in the west of Zhejiang Province, in the upper reaches of Qiantang River, at the western end of Jinhua Qu (Zhou) Basin. Its geographical coordinates are11801'-1920' and 281north latitude. The total area is 8844.6 square kilometers. Quzhou is connected to Nanping in Fujian in the south, Shangrao and Jingdezhen in Jiangxi in the west, Huangshan in Anhui in the north and Jinhua, Lishui and Hangzhou in the province in the east. It has jurisdiction over Kecheng District, qujiang district, Jiangshan City, Longyou County, Changshan County and Kaihua County.

Quzhou is rich in tourism resources, and is known as "magic landscape, famous city Quzhou". There are more than 50 scenic spots such as Jiang Lang, Michelle and Longyou Grottoes/kloc-0. 1994 was named as a national historical and cultural city by the State Council. 20 12 and 20 13 have been selected as the top ten livable cities in China for two consecutive years. 20 13 the first batch of national circular economy demonstration cities became the only prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang province.
