Synopsis: The TV detective feature film is adapted from Four Signs in adventures of sherlock holmes. The British detective is played by American film winner Charlton Heston and Dr. richard johnson Watson. The plot revolves around a mysterious fictional murder, a box of missing jewels and a note with four signatures. Holmes judged that the criminals were a disabled person with crutches and an Indian native dwarf, and used hounds to track the smell. After a chase on the Thames, he finally caught the real murderer and exposed a treasure theft in India six years ago. Fraser Clark Heston, the director, has a fluent narrative technique and grasps the suspense reasoning atmosphere of detective films quite well. Excellent photography also sets off the atmosphere of the British era and the exotic customs of India.
