He was afraid that the emperor would punish himself, so he made up a jingle to the effect: "I came to pay tribute to you, passed through Wanshui Qian Shan and arrived at Panyang Lake, and the swan flew away; My heart is broken. Today I am the son of heaven. Please forgive Mian Bogao. Besides, sending goose feathers a thousand miles away is a light gift and a heavy feeling. " Hearing this, the emperor forgave Mian Bogao.
