First of all, let's listen to one of the trilogy, that is, the first part of the three-capital grain-Angel Grain. The so-called letter literally means trust and confidence. So what should we believe? In the Amitabha Sutra, it is mentioned that "there is a world called Blissfulness on the 10 trillion Buddhist land in the west." There is a Buddha in its soil. No, Amitabha, that's what I'm talking about now. Here are two words "you". The first is that there is a world, and the second is that there is a Buddha, which shows that the western paradise is real, not empty talk or hypothesis. This is mainly to establish our confidence in the Elysium and Amitabha.

Maybe someone will ask, "Why should we go to Elysium? What's so good about that heaven? For example, the Amitabha Sutra tells us: "All beings in the country are happy without suffering. This is different from the world we live in. Our world is called the unbearable world, full of pain and filth. However, in Elysium, there is no suffering, only all kinds of happiness.

According to the report of Elysium, as the Amitabha Sutra says, "There are seven treasure pools, Ba Ding Shui, all over the pool, and the bottom of the pool is covered with golden sands. Four stairs, made of gold, silver, coloured glaze and glass. There are pavilions on the ground, and they are also decorated with gold, silver, coloured glaze, glass, red beads and agate. Not only that, but also all sentient beings and ruthlessness are saying that whether it is a strange bird with various colors or a breeze blowing, it is a French sound. Let all those who "hear the sound" naturally have the heart of chanting Buddha, dharma and monk. "

What about the fruit of Elysium? As we all know, amitabha translates as infinite light and infinite life. As the scripture says, "The Buddha is bright and boundless, and shines on ten countries without hindrance. He also said: "The life span of the Buddha and his people is infinite. In addition to Amitabha, there are countless bodhisattvas who have heard of it, and all beings who have died in Elysium. It's all caused by Kun, but he won't look back. Because in such a clean and solemn environment, not only the will and blessing of Amitabha are guaranteed, but also all the good people in the world are accompanied to urge themselves to practice diligently, so naturally they will not shrink back.

All the above descriptions of the Elysium, whether reported or reported, are actually made by Amitabha's merits and wishes. The Buddha didn't really want to seduce us with these gold and silver jewels, but built our confidence through them and told us that "a pure heart is a pure land". Since Amitabha's merits and virtues can achieve all kinds of solemnity in the paradise, our pure heart can also appeal to the beautiful world, because "the pure heart is not in the country."

Buddha is a true speaker, a true speaker and a liar. Some people listen with a grain of salt because the gap between us and Buddha is too big. It's like ants and mosquitoes having a meeting to speculate that human beings have great wisdom and strength. Of course, they should doubt this.

Because their knowledge comes from their life experience, they certainly can't understand the time and space they live in. By the same token, we sentient beings live in different time and space compared with buddhas and bodhisattvas. So we can't understand the realm of Buddha and Bodhisattva. However, as long as we believe that black grass is not false, Tommy Buddha has no empty wishes, and the Six-Party Buddha has no words, then we can believe that this method is true.

Second, I am willing to donate food.

When we know that there is such a pure and solemn world without pain and joy, can we still be indifferent and want nothing? Will you continue to stand out in this world?

So, the next step is to make a wish, which means to be tired of leaving your mother-in-law and be happy. Going to Elysium mainly depends on firmly believing that desire is the driving force, and you can't live without will, because Elysium itself is made up of will, so you must understand the importance of will.

The so-called "King Kong is not strong, I hope it is strong", and I hope it is stronger than King Kong. You must have the will to realize it. Our vows are called King Kong Seeds. Once stored in our spiritual tapes, this kind of seed will not go bad if robbed. If we want to survive in the pure land, we must have a firm and sincere desire, and only with desire can we have hope.

For example, "Pu Xian Vow" said: "When people are dying, at the last moment, all the roots are scattered, all the relatives are scattered, and all the strength is gone. Assistant minister, inside and outside Miyagi, like horses and chariots, treasures are hidden. If so, nothing has been followed. Only in this way can the king maintain unity and guide him in all matters. You can die of bliss in an instant. See amitabha when we arrive. 」

From this, we can clearly understand that all the external things a person has in the world, including wealth, status and even the closest people, will leave us when facing death, and only will accompany us and lead us to the paradise.

Third, the food line

Next, it is not enough to have a will, just like we want to make a wish to go to Beijing, but if we just stay on the wish, we will never get to Beijing. Therefore, after you have the will, you must act. This is called "taking the mountain to fill the sea". Therefore, the third part is about "cooking food". If you don't realize your wishes, you won't have enough to eat. Only by starting as you wish can you reach your destination.

But how can I get there? That is to say, it is related to the method of practice, which is a very important issue, because whether the method is correct will directly affect the question of whether it can be passed down. If you don't do it right, even if you have deep beliefs and desires, you can't go to the western paradise. Therefore, this "food" is very important.

So, what is the practice method of western pure land Sect? According to the master professor, he divided the practice into two lines: the main line and the miscellaneous line. Zhenghang is an industry specializing in pure land classics, while miscellaneous trades are the rest. The right line is divided into two types: the right line and the auxiliary line, which is clearly analyzed in Guan Juan IV. Among them, the right line belongs to the right line, and the rest belong to auxiliary lines, such as reading, observing, worshiping and praising. The Master of Mentoring advocates that the main business is the main business, supplemented by the auxiliary business. In other words, chanting Buddha's name is the main practice, while other practices such as chanting, observing, worshiping, admiring and offering are auxiliary practices. In this way, we can stay focused and go to the pure land.

This process contains several meanings. In the name of Amitabha, this is the main means to make yourself feel at ease. However, due to the deep affinity of all beings, it is difficult to be single-minded just by remembering names. Therefore, the master of good guidance also suggested that reading, observing, worshiping and rewarding offerings should be used as auxiliary functions, on the one hand, to eliminate our karma, and on the other hand, to continuously accumulate resources. These two aspects are also very important in our practice of Buddhism.

However, we should also be clear that the practice of western pure land Sect is simple, but it is not easy to do it. Therefore, our ancestors have repeatedly reminded us that to read Buddha honestly means to be patient. This is what we need to keep in mind when learning the Pure Land Method.
