The local Taishan Palace created these statues, which really avoided the ban of the Yuan Dynasty and took Taishan Palace as a cover. Taishan Palace is well preserved so far.

Before he ascended the throne, Zhao Yun was named "Marshal of the Military Forces in the World". 1276 acceded to the throne and was changed to Yuan Jingyan, who was only 7 years old. Although Lu Xiufu and other courtiers insisted on resisting the Yuan Dynasty and tried to restore the Song Dynasty, under the strict pursuit of the Yuan Army, Emperor Duanzong could only board the ship and enter the sea under the escort of General Zhang Shijie, fleeing east and avoiding west, and was exhausted.

He once fled to Kowloon City, Hong Kong. Now the Songwangtai and Houwang Temple there are all in memory of Song Duanzong and his party.

In the third year of Jingyan (1278), in March, Emperor Duanzong went into Guangzhou Bay to avoid the pursuit of Liu Shen, a general of the Yuan Dynasty. The "Dragon Boat" capsized and Emperor Duanzong drowned in the water. Although he was rescued by his entourage, he had drunk a lot of water. Emperor Duanzong was too scared to speak for several days and fell ill. With the approaching of the pursuer of the Yuan Army, he had to float to the sea and escape to Pazhou (now leizhou bay, Guangdong). Poor little emperor Song Duanzong, less than 10 years old, was shocked and sick, died a few months later, and was buried in Yongfu Mausoleum (now Jiangmen, Guangdong).
