Xinxiang is one of the cradles of ancient culture in China, with mild climate and lush vegetation in the north, which is suitable for human survival and reproduction. In ancient times, human ancestors lived and worked here and gradually developed this area. Judging from the ancient cultural sites found, most areas of Xinxiang have entered the Yangshao and Longshan cultural periods in the middle of primitive society. At the end of primitive society, that is, the legendary Yao and Shun period, China was divided into Kyushu, with Xinxiang County, Huojia, Weihui, Huixian and Xinxiang as Jizhou, Yanjin, Fengqiu and Yuanyang as Xizhou, and Changyuan and Yuanyang as Dongyuzhou.
