"Glasgow Art Institute, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, is the only art school in the world whose campus architecture matches its discipline. Creating works of art is a masterpiece of art "The Glasgow Institute of Art (GSA) has been aiming at cultivating novel, innovative and successful artists, designers and architects in its long history. The teaching and research quality of GSA plays an important role in creative groups and industries in Glasgow, Scotland and beyond, attracting many up-and-coming artists, designers and architects to gather in the school, and the students of the school represent this international group.

GSA graduates can be found in some famous companies, such as Foster Partners, Richard Rogers Architects, International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), Jaguar, Ford, Nokia and Ericsson. Other graduates joined international design institutions, such as Armani, Versace and Donna Cullen. Many art graduates go on to become professional artists.
