First, the school profile
The school was formerly known as Lanzhou Meteorological School, the former national key secondary school, which was affiliated to the Meteorological Bureau (founded in 195 1) and Gansu Coal Workers College, which was affiliated to Gansu Coal Industry Bureau (founded in 1984). In 2004, with the record of the Ministry of Education and the approval of the Gansu provincial government, the two universities merged and rebuilt into Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College of Resources and Environment.
In March, 20021,Gansu Water Conservancy and Hydropower School was merged into Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College of Resources and Environment. In May of 20021year, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Changqing College of Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics and Lanzhou Vocational College of Resources and Environment were integrated to establish a provincial-level public undergraduate vocational university.
As of May, 2022, the school has 4 campuses, 1 production-education integration demonstration park, covering an area of 2,307 mu and a building area of 433,700 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 302.54 million yuan, and the library has 1.43 million books.
There are 13 secondary colleges, 69 specialties and 22 higher vocational undergraduate majors. At present, there are 27 faculty members1/kloc-0, 73 full-time senior titles, 306 associate senior titles and more than 20,000 full-time students, including more than 800 undergraduates, more than 800 vocational students18,800 and more than 500 secondary vocational students.
Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College of Resources and Environment is quite good.
