Brahma of rosary is called bowl of calligraphy, also known as digital beads and rosary, and people usually call it Buddha beads. As the name implies, it is of course a tool and symbol used by Buddhists. Others call it "tying the horse rope". The original origin of rosary is the garland of ancient Indians. Jewelry gradually evolved into an ornament, such as a necklace. Brahmanism in ancient India began to use prayer beads before Buddhism, and there was a suspense bead in the Brahman statue unearthed in India two centuries ago. Before Buddhism, Buddhists in India always held prayer beads.

Around the middle of the second century, Buddhists began to use prayer beads. In early Buddhism, monks used beads to count and capture people's hearts. There were thirty beads, black and white, to commemorate this day. According to Buddhist classics, the prayer beads originated from the Mujuzi Sutra, which says: Always hold several beads, regardless of walking, living, sitting or lying down, and recite the Buddhist monk's name wholeheartedly for 200,000 times, surpassing life and death for one million times. The use of prayer beads is indicated in Buddhist scriptures, such as the Jingangding Yoga Sutra and the Buddhist Sutra of Measuring the Merits of Beads.

After Buddhism was introduced into China at the beginning of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with the development of Buddhism in Middle-earth, rosary was also widely spread. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, China people began to know how to use rosary. The use of rosary was quite common in the Tang Dynasty. In some monasteries, Zhunti Bodhisattva and Eleven Guanyin statues all carry prayer beads, and some arhat statues also hold or hold suspense beads. In the Tang Dynasty, Daoxuan wrote "Continued Biography of Monks", and it has been said that "everyone pinches pearls, and the mouth is the same as the Buddha's name". Su Dongpo once wrote a poem praising "holding the scriptures and holding pearls, leaning on the shoulders with a cane, planting a cane, and making pearls idle." If you can't stand, sit or lie down, ask the teacher where the staff are on this trip. "On Dunhuang Quzi Ci-Twelve o'clock of Zen Gate" said: "When that day comes, you will know your body soon, you will never be eccentric, and there will always be several beads in your hand." The "Fixed Frame Joint Chapter" said: "When you read Guanyin, you will hold momentum. In a string of beads, the current disaster is inviolable, and there must be sleep at the end of life.
