How to treat auricle pseudocyst?
The purpose of treatment of pseudocyst of auricle is to prevent fluid regeneration and promote adhesion and healing of cyst wall. 1. Physiotherapy: In the early stage, physical therapy such as ultraviolet irradiation or ultrashort wave can be used to prevent exudation and promote absorption, or laser can be used to puncture the capsule wall, release liquid and apply pressure for dressing. There are also reports of wax therapy, magnetic therapy, cryotherapy and radio frequency therapy. 2. Puncture and local compression method: the cystic fluid is extracted under strict aseptic conditions, and then it is fixed locally with plaster or placed in front of and behind the auricle of the cyst with two round magnets (about 1.5cm in diameter), and the magnets are used to attract and compress the local area. 3. Injecting drugs into the capsule cavity: 15% hypertonic saline, 50% glucose, Pingyangmycin or 1%-2% tincture can be injected into the capsule cavity after the liquid is pumped out, and then injected with drugs or pressure bandaged after the liquid turns red to promote the adhesion of the capsule wall. 4. Surgical treatment: A part of the cyst wall can be removed at the bulge of the cyst, and a small window can be opened to remove the effusion, and the pressure dressing can promote the adhesion and healing of the cyst wall.
