What are the basic steps of template processing in WEDM?
In the production and processing of plastic molds and precision multi-position progressive dies, whether good dimensional accuracy can be guaranteed directly affects the assembly accuracy of molds, the accuracy of parts and the service life of molds. Due to the high precision of the workpiece, the workpiece will be scrapped if it is slightly neglected in the processing process, and it will also have a negative impact on the manufacturing cost and processing cycle of the mold. In the process of programming and operation of on-line cutting machine tool, combined with years of production practice, aiming at the deformation problems and difficulties encountered in machining, several technological treatment methods and machining operation schemes are summarized. The specific process analysis is as follows:

(1) Pre-process φ 1.0-φ 1.5 mm thread-through hole in the proper position of the blank with a punch or electric spark, and the length of the lead-in cutting line segment L between the center of the thread-through hole and the outline of the punch is selected as 5-10 mm. ..

(2) The width of the outline of the punch and the edge of the blank should be at least 1/5 of the thickness of the blank.

(3) The connection part (pause point) reserved for subsequent cutting should be selected near the center of gravity of the workpiece blank with a width of 3-4 mm. ..

(4) In order to compensate the torsional deformation, most of the residual deformation was left in the 1 rough cutting stage, and the offset was increased to 0.5-0.8 mm ... The next three times, precision cutting was adopted, because the cutting allowance was small, and the deformation became smaller.

(5) After cutting most shapes for four times, blow dry the workpiece with compressed air, then clean the end face of the blank with alcohol solution and dry it. Then use adhesive or liquid dry glue (generally 502 dry glue) to stick the metal sheet with a thickness of about 1.5mm, and then cut the reserved connection part of the workpiece by four times of the original offset (note: don't drop the glue into the nozzle or the reserved part of the workpiece.
