incomplete abortion
In the abortion operation, sometimes it may not be possible to completely remove the villi and decidual tissue in the uterine cavity. This may lead to severe uterine contraction after operation to expel the residual embryonic tissue, which may lead to persistent abdominal pain. Symptoms may include vaginal bleeding and increased blood clots.
Postoperative infection
This is a common complication after induced abortion. Infection may be caused by surgery or postoperative hygiene habits, such as sex or swimming. Acute pelvic inflammatory disease is a manifestation of infection, and its symptoms may include severe abdominal pain, fever, aversion to cold, vaginal bleeding, abnormal secretion and so on.
Hematocrit in uterus
This usually happens within a few hours after operation, and the patient may feel severe abdominal pain like a knife, accompanied by a small amount of vaginal bleeding. During gynecological examination, the uterus may be enlarged, soft and tender. This situation requires immediate curettage, removal of blood from uterine cavity, and corresponding drug treatment. Intrauterine hematocele is not common, but it is more likely to occur in women with high uterine position or tight cervix.
