What systems does EFI engine consist of?
The EFI engine consists of the following systems:

1, the oil supply system is mainly composed of oil pressure regulator, fuel injector and fuel injection pump. The fuel pump is installed in the oil tank, and the turbopump is driven by the motor. When the oil pressure in the pump exceeds a certain value, the fuel pushes open the check valve to supply oil to the oil circuit. When the oil circuit is blocked, the pressure reducing valve opens and the leaked fuel returns to the oil tank.

2. The fuel injector is electromagnetic. When the fuel injector is not working, the needle valve seals the fuel injection hole under the action of the return spring. When the fuel injection control signal of ECU connects the electromagnetic coil of the fuel injector with the power supply circuit, the needle valve overcomes the spring pressure, friction force and its own weight under the attraction of electromagnetic force, rises upward from the rest position, and the fuel is ejected.

3. The function of the oil pressure regulator is to adjust the injection pressure. The amount of fuel injected by the injector is controlled by changing the duration of the fuel injection signal.

4. The control system consists of sensor, actuator and electronic control unit.

Sensors are components that sense information and are responsible for providing ECU with the running conditions of engines and cars.

5. The function of ECU is to collect and process the input signals of various sensors, and calculate control decisions according to the working requirements of the engine (fuel injection pulse width, ignition advance angle, etc.). ) and outputs corresponding control signals. At present, electronically controlled engine not only controls fuel injection, but also controls ignition, EGR, idle speed and exhaust valve of supercharged engine. Because the engine is controlled by an ECU, it is also called engine management system.

6. The ignition control system consists of sensor, electronic control unit and actuator.

7. The actuators are the ignition module and the ignition coil. The most common ignition system is distributor-less ignition system, and two cylinders use one ignition coil. At present, each cylinder also has an ignition coil.
