Fruit thinning should be combined with elongated inflorescences: varieties with dense fruit grains can elongate inflorescences during the inflorescence separation period, such as Xiahei, Xiazaoseedless, ZaoXia Xiang, Hanxiangmi, Jinxingseedless, seedless white chicken heart, early-maturing red seedless and so on.

Some cultivation measures reduce the fruit-setting rate: it is beneficial to improve the fruit-setting rate before flowering, but it is absolutely unnecessary to improve the fruit-setting rate for varieties with high fruit-setting rate and varieties to be treated with fruit preservation. You don't need to pick your heart before flowering, even after physiological fruit drop, so reducing fruit setting is beneficial to fruit thinning. For varieties with high fruit setting rate, such as ruby seedless and early seedless, watering at flowering stage can also be adopted to promote flower and bud falling and reduce the workload of fruit thinning.
