Jiyuan is separated from Luoyang, the ancient capital of the Nine Dynasties, by a river. The Yellow River gave birth to Chinese civilization. Liu Jianming was deeply influenced by the Taoist culture of Wuwangshan and the strong historical literati atmosphere in Luoyang. Influenced by calligraphers of past dynasties, Liu Jianming loved calligraphy since childhood and often went to Luoyang to study and watch calligraphy exhibitions. On the basis of learning from others, Liu Jianming paid attention to the inheritance and innovation of calligraphy. He has his own unique views on calligraphy, dares to break through the shackles, and has creative thinking, especially in writing large characters, especially in artistic fonts and glyphs, and integrates the art of calligraphy with the art of China ink painting. Regular script calligraphy not only retains the elegance of China traditional calligraphy, but also has the artistic conception of China ink painting. The pen and ink are full and natural, and the simple and elegant brushstrokes bring spiritual enjoyment to the viewer.
There are more than 10 calligraphy works in Liu Jianming, which have been examined and approved by China Copyright Protection Center and filed with People's Republic of China (PRC) National Copyright Administration.
Liu Jianming often participated in international and domestic calligraphy exhibitions, and his works won prizes in the 9th Philippine, China, Japanese and international calligraphy and painting competitions. Liu Jianming's works have been presented as gifts to international friends in more than 30 countries, including Taiwan Province Province, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Switzerland, Italy, Iran, Europe, America and South America, and have been collected by them.
