1. Wipe buds p>Eradicate latent buds that sprouted due to thinning out large branches. For the saw cuts after thinning branches of prosperous trees, bud wiping should be carried out 2 to 3 times a year. p>2. Pruning and topping p>Pruning refers to cutting off part of the current year's branches during the growing season, also known as short green. Topping takes place in mid-May. Topping is also called tip pinching. It is carried out during the growth period of new shoots from May to August. 5 to 10cm of young branches are removed from the young tip of the pear tree to promote branch growth and reduce consumption. Leave 5 to 8 leaves. p>3. Prune off sprouting tillering branches and overly dense branches during the growth period of new shoots, and thin out dense new shoots with no space for growth from the base to improve the light conditions inside the crown. p>4. Pulling p> Beginning in mid-May, pull out the main branches of two- to three-year-old pear trees at an angle of 50° to 60° without pulling the central stem. The auxiliary branches can be pulled horizontally to promote the opening angle of the backbone branches. Flatten long branches (lateral branches) to promote flower bud formation. The pulling time is from the end of June to early July. p>5. Branch thinning is carried out in autumn, thinning out overly dense branches, leggy branches and drooping branches, and transforming auxiliary branches.
