There are several points in hydroponics:
Leaves and leaf sheaths soaked in water should be removed to avoid rotting and polluting the water, and the base of cuttings should be cut obliquely to absorb more water and nutrients.
It is not advisable to change water when inserting bottles. When the water content in the bottle decreases, water should be added in time. Changing water frequently will lead to bad growth, and you can also add a little potassium permanganate to prevent the bottle from stinking.
Don't put bamboo-rich bottles near places where televisions, air conditioners and electric fans often blow.
Change the water thoroughly, and then don't change it for a week or two.
Withered leaves are exposed to either too much sunlight or too little sunlight. You can change them according to your own situation.
Don't soak too much water under the roots, just overflow the roots.
Fuguizhu is also known as Dragon Blood Tree and Green Leaf Dragon Blood Tree. A pagoda made of rich bamboo is given as a gift, which represents auspiciousness, wealth and wealth. Now its modeling design, top bud control and maintenance technology are briefly described as follows.
First, the appearance. (1) pagoda type. Fu Guizhu has vigorous growth, strong vitality, strong reproduction and easy management. According to these characteristics, bamboo is propagated in large quantities, and many stems of different lengths are cut down to form pagodas. The top of each rhizome should be equipped with bamboo shoots, and bud eyes should be reserved, so that the top of each pagoda can sprout and grow branches and leaves to form a new living pagoda. On the first floor of the four-story pagoda, 36 rhizomes were cut, each with 3 stems and 7 cm long; The second layer has 23 branches, each branch has 4 stems, and the length is10 cm; The third layer has 18 branches, each branch has 5 stems, and the length is13 cm; The fourth layer has 1 1 branches, and each branch has 6 stems with a length of16 cm; The stem nodes used to make pagodas should be combined immediately to avoid too much water loss to survive. When assembling, take a plastic cylinder with a length of 16 cm and a diameter of 2.5 cm as the center of the pagoda, then arrange a circle of 1 1 6 cm stems along the periphery of the plastic cylinder on the same plane, and tie them tightly with plastic threads to form the fourth layer of the pagoda; Then take 18 stems, each with a length of 13 cm, and arrange the lower ends on the same plane along the periphery of the fourth tower to form the third tower; Twenty-three stems with a length of 10 cm are arranged on the periphery of the third floor to form the second floor of the pagoda, and 36 stems with a length of 7 cm are arranged on the periphery of the second floor to form the first floor of the pagoda. After the pagoda is made, in order to improve the ornamental effect, the metal processing paper is stuck on the outside of the binding line, or the iron wire is wound into gold bars with gold paper, and the original binding line is tightened for 2-3 times to make the pagoda more spectacular; Then, another multi-layered stone pagoda can be decorated at the top of the pagoda, forming a tower at the top, which is strange and spectacular; The flowerpot is a pink semi-shallow pot, about 6 cm high and 2 cm larger in diameter than the tower foundation. When the bottom of the tower is immersed in water, all nodes can take root and grow leaves after about 3 weeks, and the green leaves are red and pleasing to the eye. (2) green pillars. Put two pots of rich bamboo on both sides of the hall screen, and let them grow freely without moving or pruning for a long time, which can reach more than 1 meter high, forming green columns. (3) Bottle bonsai. Cut off the stem and tail of Fu Guizhu, about 20 cm long, cut it in a vase or a bottle, put it in a place with a water depth of 5 cm, change the water every few days, and put it in a few cool fume hoods indoors at ordinary times, which can keep the leaves green for a long time and have no interest. (4) Jungle bonsai. When Hsinchu grows up, cut off the old, weak and dense bamboo, trim and shape it appropriately, and make it into a jungle style; After shaping, the dry stems and old leaves in the lower bamboo stems are stripped, and green, bright and shiny bamboo joints can be seen, dotted with rocks, and the ornamental effect can be improved.
Second, control the top lateral buds. After Fu Guizhu made a pagoda, the branches and leaves often never grew up, which was very nerve-racking. If left untreated, it will destroy the shape of the pagoda and affect the ornamental effect. In order to keep the green leaves natural and unrestrained and inhibit overgrowth, the methods are: (1) controlling watering. Maintain at low temperature (below 18℃), change water frequently to prevent root rot; (2) Pick your heart. When the terminal bud of each stem segment grows to 1 cm, remove the top, that is, fix the bamboo tower with the left hand, carefully hold the two leaflets at the top with the thumb and forefinger of the right hand, and pull out the heart-shaped leaflets forcibly to avoid hurting other leaflets; (3) chemical control. Use 25% paclobutrazol 1200mg/L water, or use 95% paclobutrazol 3000mg/L spray, or use mepiquat chloride 500- 1000mg/L spray once a month, or use chlormequat chloride 50-60mg/L spray once a month.
Third, scientific conservation. (1) fertilization. Potted bamboo can be planted with humus soil, vegetable garden soil and river sand in the same amount, or with coconut bran or rice bran, humus soil with a small amount of dried chicken manure and pig manure as culture soil. A pot of 3-6 plants is suitable. Change the pot every 2-3 years, change the soil and apply decomposed peanut bran fertilizer, chicken manure, pig manure or compound fertilizer to make it grow vigorously, and apply NPK compound fertilizer every 20-25 days. (2) transfer water. Spray water once a day in summer to clean the dust on the leaves and improve the humidity; Usually like to be wet, keep the soil moist during the growing season, and often spray water on the leaves, but the water will grow white and affect the appearance, and generally keep the soil moist. (3) Lighting control. Fugui bamboo likes semi-shade and is suitable for growing in bright scattered light. When it is exposed to strong light, its leaves will be burnt. Especially from April to September, it is necessary to avoid direct glare, sun exposure or excessive drought, otherwise the leaves will be scorched and dull. Usually, it is better to put it on the balcony with its back to the sun, and it will shine for 3-4 hours every day to keep the leaves bright. (4) heat preservation. Fu Guizhu has high temperature resistance and strong cold resistance, and its growth temperature is 20℃-30℃. The hot and humid season in summer is very favorable for its growth, and the overwintering temperature is above 8℃.
Fu Guizhu, also known as Wanshou Bamboo, means wealth and longevity. It is named after the shape of its stems and leaves resembles that of bamboo.
Fuguizhu is not bamboo, but agavaceae, native to Mascarin and Madagascar in the western Indian Ocean. The reason why Fu Guizhu was admitted.
Welcome pine, besides having a kind name, also looks beautiful and elegant because of its green and shiny leaves and slender and graceful branches.
