The crime of intentional injury, causing minor injuries, is usually fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, public surveillance or criminal detention. If the forensic identification results in minor injuries, the other party will constitute a criminal offence. The police station will investigate the case clearly and submit it to the procuratorate, and then the procuratorate will initiate a public prosecution and investigate the criminal responsibility of the other party. At the same time, the victim can also file an incidental civil lawsuit, demanding compensation from the other party for medical expenses, nutrition expenses, transportation expenses, nursing expenses, lost time, compensation for mental damages and other expenses. The specific compensation standard depends on whether the injury constitutes a civil disability level, and then the specific compensation amount is calculated according to the disability level, specific losses and local economic development level. Of course, if the two sides negotiate, it depends on each other's requirements, as long as the compensation issue can be agreed. This is a case of intentional injury. If it is negligence that causes minor injuries, it will not be judged. Legal basis: Article 234 of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) intentionally hurts another person's body, and he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance. Whoever commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph and causes serious injuries shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years; Whoever causes death or serious disability by particularly cruel means shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death.
