City Xishan Martyrs Cemetery, under the correct leadership of the Civil Affairs Bureau, earnestly studied the "Theory of Three Represents" theory and the spirit of the 16th Party Congress document, eliminated all kinds of difficulties in the work, and made great efforts to do all the work. All the staff take the spirit of "carrying forward the heroic spirit, pioneering and pragmatic, uniting and striving for first-class" as the cemetery spirit. Do a good job in preparation, publicity and education during Tomb-Sweeping Day's grave-sweeping, maintain the memorial building for martyrs, remove dust and rust from the tomb of martyrs, portray the words of tombstones in a new way, weed the graves, paint the railings in a new way, and keep the garden clean and tidy, so as to keep the tomb of martyrs clean and solemn all the time. During the peak period of grave sweeping, more than 20 schools and units and relatives of martyrs will sign up every day, reaching 1 10,000 people. Through the shaping and pruning of trees, the idea of plant modeling is formed, the ornamental effect of artistic level is improved, and the strength of trees is adjusted, so as to achieve gorgeous flowers, lush leaves and beautiful trees, improve the greening quality and biological ecological balance, and adopt comprehensive prevention methods and scientific and technological means to prevent and control them. With the continuous development of society, the renewal of people's ideas, the importance attached by the party and the government to the education of minors, and the continuous sublimation of learning the deeds of revolutionary martyrs and inheriting and carrying forward the glorious tradition of revolutionary martyrs, schools and units regard "patriotism education" as an important political education to train future successors and builders. To this end, we use this special classroom to vividly reproduce the great spirit of revolutionary martyrs' patriotism, collectivism, internationalism and * * * productism, and educate the masses and young students to establish correct ideals, outlook on life, values and outlook on life and death through various propaganda tools and educational contents, so as to infect and inspire people to actively contribute to the prosperity of the motherland and the happiness of the people.
Every year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, people come to the Xishan Martyrs Cemetery to pay homage to the revolutionary martyrs. There is a sea of people, including veteran comrades, young students, schools, units and mass organizations. Some of them held the oath of joining the Party, the League and the Young Pioneers in front of the Martyrs Memorial Tower. The Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government organized four sets of team leaders, and some retired veteran comrades and some government functionaries came to the Xishan Martyrs Cemetery to pay homage to the revolutionary martyrs. In the whole year, it received more than 65.438 million person-times of various schools and units, about 30,000 person-times. It has signed agreements on moral education bases with 22 primary and secondary schools, and often receives old leaders from other regions, such as Zhang zhen, former deputy commander chairman of the Central Military Commission, commander Ma Shuzheng and Wang Ping, and some veterans of the New Fourth Army. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the victory of China people War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. In order to commemorate this great victory in China's revolutionary history and reproduce the revolutionary struggle course of the New Fourth Army in Liyang, we jointly held the exhibition board activity of "The New Fourth Army in Liyang" with the memorial hall of the Jiangnan Command of the New Fourth Army, and opened the second class of patriotism education in organs, study and troops to arouse people's patriotism and love for the city. More precious tree species with good fire resistance and high ornamental value and some trees with economic value should be planted. According to the growth of flowers and trees in the local climate, some flowers can be cultivated, and flowers can be gathered in an instant by controlling environmental conditions. In the development of hematopoietic function, we must first ensure the education, culture and memorial functions of martyrs cemetery, change the traditional conservative cemetery layout, gradually bury in friendly memorial tombs and parks, and strive to create clan-specific content. According to the local, ethnic and topographical characteristics, we should work hard on "inheritance" and "reference" and seriously study the method of "making the past serve the present and making foreign things serve China".
