1. If the name of a minor child is changed, both parents must submit a written application.

2. If one parent dies and the other remarries and requests to change the name of a minor child, the public security organ shall distinguish the following different situations and allow the parties and guardians to handle the name change formalities with relevant certificates:

(1)/kloc-Minors over 0/6 but under 0/8 whose main source of income is their own labor decide to change their names; If his father and stepmother, or his mother and stepfather ask for a name change, they must obtain their own consent;

(2)/kloc-If the father, stepmother, or mother and stepfather of a minor aged 0 or above agree to change the name of the minor through consultation, they shall obtain their consent;

(3)/kloc-The name change of minors under 0/0 shall be decided by their father or stepmother, or by their mother and stepfather through consultation.

3. Being serving a sentence or reeducation through labor, being investigated in criminal cases and public security cases, the civil cases have not been concluded or executed, the administrative cases have not been concluded or the administrative punishment has not been executed, and it is not appropriate to change the name.

(2) Changing occupation, service place, education level, marital status, household registration or relationship with household registration. The police station shall make changes after verification with the relevant certification materials provided by citizens.

(3) According to the Notice of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Personnel and the Ministry of Public Security on Seriously Doing a Good Job in the Management of Cadre's Date of Birth (Group Tongzi [2006] No.41), the public security organ may not apply for the change of the date of birth of cadres managed by the personnel department.

(four) if the household registration error is caused by the work error of the public security organ, the relevant procedures shall be verified by the public security police station and corrected in time.
