Method 1: (error-prone or unable to connect) is to connect two computers with a network cable, then open the file to be transmitted, and then go to the working group computer of the online neighbor to find the file you need to transmit.
Method 2: (Easy to succeed) Two computers are connected to a router, and the router needs to be connected to the main line. Subsequent steps are the same as those in method 1.
Method 3: Use software (the success rate is very high, at least I have no problems). I pass books by flying pigeons. This software transmission is similar to QQ. Just send the folder directly to others.
Use USB connecting cable and USB data bridge cable. Be careful not to use ordinary USB cable to interconnect, otherwise it will burn out the motherboard.
First, install the USB cable.
The installation of USB cable includes two parts: hardware installation and software installation, in which the software part uses an independent program called SMART-Linq. During the installation, you need to use a floppy disk connected to the cable.
The installation of 1 USB Link- 100 cable USB devices support plug and play and hot plug functions, and USB Link- 100 is no exception. Therefore, it can be plugged into the USB interface of the computer at any time without turning off the power of the computer. At this point, the computer will automatically assign the address, and the user does not need to set any physical parameters. On the premise that the computer software and hardware can meet the USB function, it is also necessary to ensure that the USB item in the CMOS parameter setting is set to the enabled state. If it is set to the disabled state, the USB device will not work.
The first time you connect the USB Link- 100 cable, you will be prompted to discover new hardware, and then the installation wizard will appear. Insert the floppy disk attached to the cable into the floppy drive, and then select "Automatically search for a better driver". The system will read the required information from the floppy disk, and then a dialog box for selecting USB bridge cable will appear. After selecting the driver name, click the "Finish" button, and the system will copy the required driver from the floppy disk. Finally, a prompt message will appear, and click "Finish" to finish. Install the hardware in the same way on another computer.
2. Installation of Smart-LINQ Program The installation method of Smart-LINQ program is very simple. Double-click the setup.exe file on the floppy disk and click the Next button all the time. After the installation is completed, a menu item named PC-Linq will appear in the lower menu of Start → Programs. Select the menu item under this menu to perform related operations. At the same time, the installer will also create a PC-Linq shortcut menu on the desktop. Install the SMART-Linq program on another computer in the same way.
Second, the application of dual-computer interconnection
After installing and setting up the above hardware and software, users can use USB cable to communicate between two computers. Including file transfer, sharing resources on another computer, etc.
When the PC-Linq program of computer A starts, a window will open (as shown in figure11-1), and there is a small window in the main window to display the file directory in computer A. At this time, computer B has not started the PC-Linq program, so the files on computer B cannot be seen. In the lower right corner of the main window, there are two balls, one is red and the other is green. The green ball indicates that the current PC-Linq program of Machine A is in a normal state, and the red ball indicates that the connected Machine B has not started the PC-Linq program.
Start the PC-Linq program of Machine A and run the PC-Linq program of Machine B. At this time, the PC-Linq main window of two machines will open two windows at the same time (as shown in figure112), and the file directories of two hosts will be displayed respectively. The upper window is the local machine file directory, and the lower window is the remote machine. The two balls in the lower right corner of the main window have turned green, indicating that the two machines have been in a normal connection state through PC-Linq program and can transmit data to each other. The file operation function of 1. is just like the "resource manager" under Windows, and the operations in the PC-Linq window also support functions such as copying, pasting, creating, deleting and dragging directly. Generally speaking, the function of PC-Linq is the same as that of "resource manager". Only the resource manager can only manage resources on the local computer, while the PC-Linq window can manage resources on two computers at the same time.
Third, before unplugging the USB cable from the computer, be sure to close the local PC-Linq window, otherwise it will lead to blue screen or even crash because the terminal is disconnected.
