2, the working principle is different

Cold welding machine is a kind of special welding wire, which uses the high heat energy generated by instantaneous discharge of micro-current to clad the welding wire to the damaged part of the workpiece and weld it firmly with the original base metal. After welding, only a little polishing is needed.

Argon arc welding, that is, tungsten inert gas shielded welding, refers to the welding method with industrial tungsten or active tungsten as non-melting electrode and inert gas (argon) as protection, which is called TIG for short.

3. Different characteristics

Cold welding machine has a small heat affected zone. There is no heat input in the instantaneous process of stacking, so there is no deformation, undercut and residual stress. Local annealing will not occur, and re-heat treatment is not needed after repair.

In order to protect the easy arcing and improve the welding quality, the argon arc welding machine also adds a booster arc extinguishing device at the output end, and uses another group of secondary sides of the high-frequency and high-voltage generator transformer as a booster transformer, so that when the high-frequency and high-voltage generator works, the voltage at the output end also rises to ensure arcing, and the booster device is also disconnected with the high-frequency and high-voltage current generator after arcing.
