What are the traditional Chinese medicine treatments for lung cancer?

1. Lung cancer

Lung cancer, also known as primary bronchial cancer, is a common malignant tumor originating from bronchial epithelium at all levels. This disease is more common in adults over 40 years old, and is more common in men than women. The incidence of lung cancer in my country has increased significantly in the past 20 years, especially in cities.

Cough, chest pain, hemoptysis, chest tightness, shortness of breath, weight loss and cachexia are its main symptoms. The current histological classification of lung cancer is roughly divided into five categories according to the degree of cell differentiation and morphological characteristics: squamous cell carcinoma, small cell undifferentiated carcinoma, large cell undifferentiated carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and bronchiolo-alveolar carcinoma. Among them, squamous cell carcinoma is the most common. Epithelial cell carcinoma is the most common.

This disease belongs to the categories of "lung accumulation", "pneumonia" and "cough" in traditional Chinese medicine. The disease is located in the lungs and often affects the spleen, stomach and kidneys. Its etiology and pathogenesis are due to insufficient lung qi and yin, and evil poisons take advantage of the deficiency to attack the lungs, resulting in the loss of lung qi and the failure to spread body fluids. , blocked in the lung collaterals, and then aggregated into lumps, forming cancerous tumors. After cancerous tumors are formed, they further block Qi movement and aggravate the dysfunction of lung Qi dispersion and descending function. Such a vicious cycle makes the condition worse. Surgical treatment causes the normal function of the lungs to decline, and the deficiency of Qi and Yin becomes more severe. If chemotherapy or radiotherapy is performed, it will not only cause local irritation, pain, swelling, and necrosis, but also damage the body's righteousness, cause spleen and stomach dysfunction, or cause further depletion of lung qi and yin.
