Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences was established in May 2008 and co-located with Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital. Guangdong Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Guangdong Institute of Geriatrics, Guangdong Mental Health Center, Guangdong Institute of Lung Cancer, Guangdong Institute of Eye Disease Prevention, Guangdong Institute of Neuroscience and many other clinical medical, teaching and scientific research institutions.
