When the air pressure is 5kgf/cm when the flash butt welder stops working (the electrode rises), if the air leakage at the air outlet reaches 1L/ min, the machine parts should be inspected in time.
2, electrode tip shaping:
The shape of the electrode tip is an important welding condition, and whether the upper and lower electrode tips are properly matched will directly affect the welding effect of each solder joint. If the contact surfaces of the two welding heads are not tightly combined, some solder joints cannot be welded. Therefore, when the welding effect of some solder joints is not good, it should be adjusted manually and checked with a feeler gauge. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly polish and clean the electrode tip.
3. Maintenance of fastening joints
The joint between the secondary side and conductor of flash welding transformer and the conductive plate of electrode arm should be removed twice a year, and the joint should be polished. If poor contact or oxidation occurs, the welding function will be reduced, so the machine must deal with it in spite of the trouble. Other connecting parts, also should often check whether the bolt is loose, etc.
