What should I do if the beans planted in rural vegetable fields grow too densely? How should I solve it?
What should I do if the beans grow too densely in rural vegetable fields? Are legumes dense or pods dense? Literally, it seems that the pods are too dense, so I will answer the question from two aspects.

1. Cowpea is planted in rural areas, and vegetable farmers seldom prune cowpea, and so on. They all reduce the amount of seeds, increase the row spacing and planting density to improve the ventilation and light transmission conditions. In this way, of course, the yield is greatly reduced. Practice has proved that the purpose of high yield and high efficiency can be achieved by adjusting the lines and planting closely.

The adjustment method is to set up a picture frame and draw vines in time. Cowpea plants grow to 5-6 leaves, and when they start to stretch their vines, they will start to insert bamboo poles into the herringbone frame, one for each hole. When the cowpea vine grows to more than 30 cm, it should be painted on the shelf in time, and the vine should be painted at noon or afternoon on a sunny day to avoid breaking the tender head. If it is dwarf cowpea, topping when the plant has lateral branches (keeping 2 ~ 3 true leaves) can improve the pod setting rate.

If it is a vine cowpea, smooth it, and smooth it in time when the lateral buds below the first inflorescence of the main vine grow to about 3 cm, which can promote the main vine to be strong and bloom and pod early. Second, it is akimbo, that is, in the early stage of growth, 2 ~ 3 leaves are left for the lateral branches at the node above the first inflorescence of the main vine, which can promote the formation of flower buds in the first node of the lateral vine. The third kind is stuffy tip, the side branch that grows in the middle and late growth period of cowpea plants will be stuffy (pinched) after seeing flower buds. The last one is the wick main vine.

2. If the beans are dense, they should be harvested in time to avoid damaging other flower buds and small pods, and be careful not to pick the inflorescences together. You should hold the bottom of the pod, gently twist it from side to side, and then take it off. The general harvesting period is once every 2-3 days. If it is at the peak of pod setting, you can harvest it once a day. The time for picking young pods is generally in the afternoon or evening, and pesticides should be strictly enforced in the middle of harvest.

While strengthening management, necessary watering and fertilization management must be carried out.
