How to prevent cancer?

There are many young people in my leukemia patient group, as well as basketball players and innocent children. While we feel sorry for them, we also want to tell everyone how to prevent the occurrence of cancer.

The first thing is to quit smoking. Smoking not only may cause lung cancer, there are 14 types of cancers known to be related to smoking. Cancers of the nasal cavity, oral cavity, esophagus, and lungs are all directly related to smoking. In addition, smoking increases the risk of blood sugar, blood pressure, and dyslipidemia. To prevent cancer, you must first stay away from smoking, which also includes second-hand smoke. In public places, everyone must achieve legal consciousness and prohibit smoking, not only for themselves, but also for everyone.

Secondly, drink less alcohol. Many cancers are related to drinking. Red wine is delicious and emotional. It can also soften blood vessels and is loved by many people. From the perspective of cancer prevention, you should drink less red wine. Long-term drinking of red wine will increase the risk of breast cancer.

Third, we must control our weight and avoid obesity. Data has proven that if the BMI exceeds 28, it is very harmful to health. Obese people are more likely to get various cancers. This is really a sad story. Obese people often suffer from fatty liver. If the condition is not controlled, the condition may develop into cirrhosis or even liver cancer.

The fourth is to reduce sunbathing. There are far more skin cancer patients in Europe and the United States than in Asia. The possible reason is that they prefer to bask in the sun. A small amount of sunshine can increase vitamin D in the body and help the body replenish calcium. However, as the environment has deteriorated over the years, the ozone layer has been destroyed, and ultraviolet rays have become the biggest cause of skin cancer.

Especially when going out in the summer or doing long-term outdoor activities, adults and children must take protective measures. In addition to sunscreen, sun hats, parasols, etc., they must also pay attention to eye protection and choose appropriate sunglasses.

In addition, pay attention to avoid other factors that cause cancer, such as staying away from radiation, radioactive substances, toxic chemical products containing benzene and other carcinogens, and try to choose environmentally friendly decoration materials. A special mention here is that if it is not necessary, take less X-rays, especially for children, try to avoid taking X-rays close to the head. Certain known cancer screenings, such as full-body 360-degree three-dimensional CT scans, are not recommended because they are prone to misdiagnosis and are highly radioactive. To put it bluntly, one examination is equivalent to 10 years of sunbathing at the beach.

The above are conventional cancer prevention measures. I hope everyone can be healthy and live a hundred years.
