1, Confucius Temple

Confucius Temple is a group of large-scale ancient buildings, which have experienced vicissitudes and been abandoned several times. This is the place where Confucius is sacrificed. As one of the four major Confucian temples in China, it has become a characteristic scenic spot in the ancient capital of Nanjing, known as the scenic spot of Qinhuai, and also a famous tourist attraction at home and abroad. It is the largest traditional ancient market in China.

2. Jiangnan Gongyuan

Jiangnan Gongyuan, also known as Nanjing Gong Yuan, is located in the southeast corner of Nanjing, east of Gong Xue of Nanjing Confucius Temple. It is a part of Qinhuai scenic belt of Confucius Temple and one of the three ancient buildings in Confucius Temple area.

3. Wuyi Lane

Wuyi Lane, the oldest and most famous lane name in China, is located on the south bank of Nanjing Zhuque Bridge and Qinhuai River. During the Three Kingdoms period, this was the location of the military camp where the Kingdom of Wu defended Stone Town.

Wuyi Lane was the residential area of two wealthy families in Xie Wang in Jin Dynasty. Children of both families like to wear black clothes to show their dignity, hence the name. Cultural masters such as Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi and Xie Lingyun, the originator of landscape poetry school, have emerged in Wuyi Lane, which is full of houses.

4. Meixianglou

Lou, also known as Li's former residence or Li Lou, was built in memory of Li. Meixianglou is located at No.38, Qian Ku Street, Confucius Temple in Nanjing, at the southern end of Laiyan Bridge on Qinhuai River. This is a house with three entrances and two courtyards.

5. Zhonghua Gate

Zhonghua Gate, known as Jubaomen in Ming Dynasty, is the south gate of Nanjing City and the castle gate of thirteen gates in the inner city of Nanjing City Wall, which is second only to Tongji Gate in scale. Zhonghua Gate Castle is the largest existing castle in China and the most complete and complicated ancient castle and fortress urn in the world.
