2. Due to the leakage of components or lines on the remote controller, the indicator light flashes. Generally, you can take out the battery, disassemble the remote controller, replace the components and related circuits and return to normal;
3. If the indicator light flashes but the remote control function is normal, it is recommended to leave it alone and continue to use it; If the function is not normal, it is recommended to directly replace the new remote control. You can contact the set-top box to replace the original remote control after sale, or you can buy an external remote control yourself.
Extended data
The TV remote controller mainly relies on integrated circuits (also known as chips) to send instructions. The chip adopts 18 pin dual in-line package (DIP for short).
On the right side of the chip, you can see a diode, a transistor (black with three pins), a vibrator (yellow), two resistors (green) and a capacitor (dark blue).
There is also a resistor (green) and a capacitor (small brown disk) next to the battery contact. In this circuit, the chip can detect when the key is pressed.
Then, it encodes the key information in a form similar to Morse code, and the encoding of each key is different. The chip will send these signals to the transistor for amplification to enhance the signal.
