What is the tomb of the living dead in Xi 'an? How did it come from?
That's the tomb built by Quanzhen chess master Wang Zhongyang.

Wang Zhongyang, a native of Xianyang, Shaanxi Province, was born in the Northern Song Dynasty. After Jin was destroyed by the Northern Song Dynasty, Shaanxi was under the jurisdiction of Liu Qi. He studied in imperial academy of Liu Qi's regime. Later, Liu Qi was killed by Jin, and at the age of 25, he was admitted to the Daikin champion. But at that time, the social status of the Han people was not high, especially the military commanders. You could not have any real power. Wang Zhongyang belongs to the level of muddling along.

However, this tells me that Wang Zhongyang is good at martial arts, and he is very good. Otherwise, if you look at the contrast between Quanzhen and Qizi, it is probably because the master is good.

When I was 47 years old, I went to Huxian County in Wang Zhongyang. I also love going to Huxian County. The grapes in Huxian County are very sweet, and the soft noodles in Huxian County are delicious. As for why Wang Zhongyang went, I don't know, but he said he met Lv Dongbin in Huxian. Lv Dongbin saw that Wang Zhongyang thought he was savvy and had a strange bone, so he told him to speak and practice magic.

Wang Zhongyang, 48, saw Lv Dongbin again in Liquan County, Shaanxi Province. Lv Dongbin saw that Wang Zhongyang was more Taoist than last year, so he passed on several fairy tales and asked him to burn them after reading them.

After reading it, Wang Zhongyang was deeply moved and decided to stay away from the world and devote himself to spiritual practice. After returning home, he married his daughter and wife and never went to Huxian, where he first met the fairy. He dug a basement and called it the tomb of the living dead.

Wang Zhongyang practiced in the tomb for several years (there are two years, five years, and seven years, and opinions vary), and he buried all the worldly people. Finally, he gained enlightenment by practicing Buddhism and came out of the tomb of the living dead. At this point, Wang Zhongyang is no longer the other Wang Zhongyang.

This is a completely different Wang Zhongyang from the past, a Wang Zhongyang that abandoned secular life. Wang Zhongyang sealed the tomb after coming out of the tomb of the living dead, and built a Taoist temple beside it, named Daogong.

The name is also easy to understand. A few years after becoming a Taoist priest, he went to the East China Sea to preach, which is now Shandong, where he received seven disciples, that is, Quan Zhen Qi Zi.

At the age of 68, Wang Zhongyang felt that he was going to be successful in my official career. He called a meeting of his disciples to explain the affairs and took his seat to succeed in my official career. Later, he was buried by disciples in Chongyang Palace in Huxian County.

One hundred years later, Kublai Khan, posthumous title and Wang Zhongyang were named "the true king of Chongyang Quanzhen Civilization", and were later named "the second emperor of Chongyang Quanzhen Civilization" by Kublai Khan's great-grandson Yuan Wuzong, and Wang Zhongyang became one of the five ancestors of Quanzhen Civilization.

Among the other four ancestors, one name has only been known recently, and it is called "Donghua Dijun". Emperor Donghua has a high position in Taoism. Whoever achieves immortality must first worship Donghua Emperor. He is as famous as the Queen Mother of the West. It is because Taoism says that Emperor Donghua preached in Zhong Liquan and Lv Dongbin and Lv Dongbin preached in Wang Zhongyang that he became the first of the five ancestors of Quanzhen.
