How and where to spend it? Just ask for a receipt. The supermarket at 7- 1 1 will give you a receipt. The hotel must have it. Don't go to music and entertainment places, because there won't be any receipts there! ^_^

There is a kind of card called "Cat Card" in Thailand. The phone I use there costs 80 cents a minute, which should be considered the cheapest!
