Preparation and casting of spells

The Mage Occupation Table records the number of 1 rings and higher ring spells you use to cast spells. When casting mage spells, you must also consume the spell bits of the corresponding ring level. Exhausted spells can be restored by completing a long rest.

You can prepare a series of mage spells that meet the current casting conditions. When preparing spells, the total number of prepared spells you choose from the spell book is equal to your intelligence adjustment value+your mage class level (at least 1). In addition, you can only prepare spells that have obtained the corresponding ring-level spell position.

For example, as a third-level mage, you have four 1 ring spells and two 2 ring spells. If your intelligence is 16, your preparation spell list can include a total of six combinations of 1 or 2 ring spells. If you prepare 1 ring magic, missile magic? You can change your prepared spell list after a long rest. If you need to prepare a new mage spell, you need to spend more time studying your spell book and re-remember the spells and actions of the prepared spells. When preparing a spell, it takes at least 1 minute to prepare each step of the spell.
