Working principle of laser line scanning
The laser light source is closed, which is not easily affected by the environment and is easy to form a beam. Low-power visible light lasers, such as He-Ne lasers and semiconductor lasers, are often used.

The scanner is a rotating polygonal prism or a double mirror. When the beam enters the scanner, it rotates rapidly, reflecting the laser into a scanning beam. In the whole process of beam scanning, if there is a workpiece, the light will be blocked, so the diameter can be measured.

Before measurement, two gauges with known dimensions must be used for calibration, and then if all the measured dimensions are between the two gauges, the size to be measured can be obtained after electrical signal processing.

Laser imaging: scanning an object with a laser beam, the reflected beam is reflected back, and the obtained arrangement order is different. Use image drag and drop to reflect the resulting image.

Laser imaging has the ability of over-the-horizon detection, which can be used for satellite laser scanning imaging and will be used in remote sensing mapping and other scientific and technological fields in the future.

General characteristics

1, using a 200mm thick granite platform with zero-order accuracy as the fuselage, it is stable and not deformed, and its accuracy is maintained for a long time.

2. 1μm photoelectric ruler is used for measurement and positioning, and fully enclosed circular motion control is adopted to improve the positioning accuracy of the reader.

3. Using line laser scanning, the speed is fast, 2000- 10000 points per second.

4. Double CCD is used to take points to eliminate scanning dead angle.

5, open scanning design, can scan large objects.

6. Scan the workpiece on the distribution turntable in all directions.

Laser scanner is an instrument for measuring the size and shape of workpiece by scanning technology. The laser scanner must use a rotating motor with good stability and accuracy. When the beam hits (hits) the polygon prism driven by the motor, a scanning beam is formed.

Because the polygon prism is located on the front focal plane of the scanning lens and rotates at a uniform speed, the incident angle of the laser beam relative to the reflector is constantly changing, so the reflection angle is constantly changing, and parallel and continuous top-down scanning lines are formed through the action of the scanning lens.

It is a very accurate, fast and simple instrument, which can be installed on the production line to form an instrument for inspection at the same time of production. The basic structure of laser scanner includes laser light source, scanner, optical sensor (detector), control unit and so on.
