1, refinement
Sparse pruning is to prune all the redundant branches at the root of peach trees to avoid poor permeability of peach trees. Sparse pruning is generally to cut off peach trees that are too dense and the branches overlap.
Step 2 pinch the branches
The main purpose of pinching branches is to inhibit the growth of new shoots of peach trees, control the vegetative growth rate and promote the growth of new branches of peach trees in the future. Usually used for young tree shaping and adult tree tissue culture.
3. Shortcuts
The main pruning target is branches that grow within one year. In order to improve the nutrient absorption of branches, improve the growth ability and promote the growth of new shoots, about 1/3 branches were cut off.
4, long tip pruning
Pay attention to the age and growth period of peach trees when pruning. We shouldn't prune the branches within a year. We can cut and throw them properly. After pruning, the germination ability and growth ability of branches are enhanced, but the growth is weakened. However, its growth is large and its nutrients are dispersed, which can promote flower bud differentiation, flowering and fruiting.
5. Germination and pruning
When the new buds of peach trees germinate, the redundant new buds on the branches should be removed, and the new buds are mainly competitive clustered buds. Usually, half of the buds are wiped off, and then the growth direction is properly adjusted during the molding process.
