Hello everyone, since many drone players don’t know how to weld the battery connectors, so below ovonic will share with you how to weld correctly and some things to pay attention to.
1. Fix the thread. If you have the conditions, you can use a welding bracket to fix it. If the connector is XT60, XT90, etc. and has a sheath, cover the wire first.
2. The positive and negative wire ends are tinned in advance. When adding solder to the thread, we need to use a soldering iron to put it on, and slowly feed the tin wire forward so that the solder covers the thread without burrs.
3. Add tin to the joints and evenly tin the inner surface. Too much tin will easily cause overflow.
4. Weld the wire joints. The red wire is the positive pole and the black wire is the negative pole. Avoid contact between the positive and negative poles, otherwise it will cause fire and short circuit. The soldering area must be fully covered with tin, otherwise problems such as weak soldering will occur, which will affect the charging and discharging effect of the battery.
5. After the two wires are welded, just snap the sheath in.
Notes:
1. Do not touch the positive and negative poles, otherwise it will cause a short circuit;
2. The red wire is the positive pole and the black wire is the negative pole. Do not Welded backwards.
