Wang Damei (1920 April13—March 2003 15), a famous plastic surgery surgeon in China, was one of the founders of plastic surgery in China, and once served as the director, professor and doctoral supervisor of plastic surgery in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing Medical College, enjoying special government allowance. Famous astronomer, meteorologist and geophysicist, the eldest daughter of Wang Yingwei, one of the pioneers of modern astronomy, meteorology and geomagnetism in China. Winner of "Two Bombs and One Satellite Meritorious Medal", "Father of China Optics", applied optician, one of the founders of China Optics, former vice chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, academician of China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering: Wang Daheng's sister.
