Ermaya is the main farm type, including other farm types with longer main body and more beautiful body. The length of the main body is not less than 8 cm. When transplanting ginseng seedlings, it is necessary to remove the fibrous roots and tidy up the body shape. Most of them need plastic transplantation twice to grow into a large and high-quality body with neck, body and legs, which looks like a human figure and is beautiful. Its price is nearly twice as high as that of ordinary ginseng, and it enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. The formation of marginal ginseng area is the result of long-term combination of ecological environment and local planting techniques. Biantiao ginseng is centered on Ji 'an City, Jilin Province. Ji 'an City is separated from North Korea by a river, with warm climate and abundant rainfall, and is known as the "Little Jiangnan in Northeast China". The local soil is weathered from granite, mica shale and gneiss, with moderate humus content and good water permeability and air permeability. The wound of ginseng is easy to heal after plastic surgery and beard removal, and it is not rotten after planting, which is the biggest difference between the marginal ginseng area and the ordinary ginseng area. The common ginseng area, represented by Fusong, has thick humus layer on the top soil and rich organic matter content, and thick and sticky loess on the bottom soil. Coupled with the cool climate, the roots of ginseng do not stick down, so the ginseng body is short and thick, and it is not easy to seep down because of rain and snow. If it is removed, the plastic workers will rot, so the ordinary ginseng area is not suitable for planting marginal ginseng.
Although there are some differences in environment and planting techniques, common ginseng is the same plant after all, and the requirements for the big environment, such as shading, liking cold climate, and needing suitable light and water, are basically the same, so the planting procedures (such as land selection, soil preparation, sowing, transplanting, etc.) are exactly the same, but there are some differences in planting techniques, such as land selection and transplanting. In order to save space, the following only introduces different techniques from ordinary ginseng cultivation, and other techniques that are not different from ordinary ginseng cultivation will not be introduced.
