What is water wax?
Water wax is a relatively short shrub with a height of about 30 cm, thin roots and many branches. It likes to grow in a cool and humid environment, mainly distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places in China, especially Shuyang, Jiangsu, which is a famous hedge planting base of water wax and sold to more than 20 provinces and cities across the country. There are several water wax production bases in Shuyang. Water wax is one of the few evergreen plants in China. It can be planted in pots or outdoors as a good lawn landscape. Water wax has a little cold tolerance and can grow at MINUS 6- 10 degrees. Therefore, if water wax is planted in the south, it hardly needs antifreeze protection in winter. Although water wax is a light-loving plant, long-term strong light irradiation will make its leaves yellow, which is very unfavorable for growth. Therefore, in summer, potted plants should be placed in a cool and ventilated place to receive scattered light. Attention should be paid to insect prevention measures during the growth of water wax, mainly in advance, and some thiacloprid spray can be sprayed.
