How to pinch the melon?
The pinch fork of cantaloupe can be divided into two types: double-vine pruning and single-vine pruning, mainly pruning the top of cantaloupe by about 4 cm.

If you want to grow a healthy cantaloupe, you must treat the seeds well and soak them in medicine to prevent diseases and insect pests. Keep enough strong light, the temperature is about 27-29 degrees, and you can't completely expose cantaloupes to the sun. Generally, cantaloupe is pinched when it grows to 4-5 leaves, leaving 3-4 vines on the seedlings. When there are melons on the vine, you can pinch them when there are four leaves.

If there is no melon on the vine, you can pinch the tip when two leaves grow, thus promoting the sun to bear fruit. The principle of pinching the tip is to knock off all the branches behind the melon after it is seated. According to the growth of melon seedlings, knocking out the strong branches in front of the melon without beating the weak branches (in front of the melon) can increase the leaf area and promote photosynthesis, thus increasing the yield.

Vegetation process

The pruning method of cantaloupe is generally 3-5 cm at the top, and the pruning method of single vine is to set the node position of cantaloupe at 10- 14, and the top of main vine has 25-30 leaves. The method of double vine pruning is to leave the sun vine in the 8- 12 section of the seed vine, and leave two leaves to pick the center. After sitting on the melon festival, the grandchildren all left 1 leaf to pick their hearts or rest assured, and the vines topped about 25 festivals.

If it is a side-bud melon, you can pinch the tip when there are 6-7 leaves, put the buds on the main vine and leave 2-3 buds on the branches. Break up the rest and remove the "tips" of the branches to avoid making the vines grow too long. Melon grows slowly on the main vine, usually on the vine and the sun vine. Therefore, it is found that there are no melons on the leaves of 1~2, and it is necessary to quickly top them to promote the growth of new vines and open female flowers and long melons.
