Eczematous cheilitis: The most common example is cheilitis caused by lipstick, which is caused by allergies to pigments or dyes in lipstick or lanolin or drugs in lip balm. Such patients usually have symptoms on the upper and lower lips. The other is solar cheilitis, that is, long-term activities or workers in the scorching sun, under the chronic stimulation of ultraviolet rays, the lower lip becomes pale, the epidermis shrinks and cracks, and may even develop into malignant lesions.
Allergic cheilitis: red lips, repeated drying, desquamation, itching, exudation and scabbing.
