How to prune bayberry?
Pruning method of bayberry branches:

1, Myrica rubra should be pruned after the stem is fixed, with 3-4 strong main branches and 2-3 lateral branches, and all others should be cut off. During the growing period of Myrica rubra, the long branches should be removed, and the redundant buds should be removed. The branches on Myrica rubra that are not suitable for growth should be pruned regularly, and the big wounds should be disinfected after pruning.

2. Cut off a branch tip. After short cuttings, the branches will shift, thus promoting the germination of cuttings and increasing their branches. It can promote regeneration to a certain extent and make it rejuvenate.

3. When pruning Myrica rubra, attention should be paid to pruning overlapping branches, cross branches and other morphological branches. When pruning, the number and length of branches should be appropriately adjusted according to the growth of plants, the distribution and thickness of branches.
