BICU burn intensive care unit, as a specialized ICU, provides a good condition for clinical treatment of critically ill patients, so attention should be paid to its use in clinical work. Based on the summary of the work practice in the intensive care unit, this paper holds that the intensive care unit plays a very important role in treating patients with severe burns.

Advantages of 1 ICU

In practical work, we feel that ICU has more advantages than ordinary wards in the treatment of severe patients. At the same time, due to the concentration of a variety of advanced instruments and equipment, the patient's condition is complex and changeable, so the requirements for nursing staff and equipment management are very important.

ICU nurses should have superb technical operation.

(1) After critically ill patients are admitted to ICU, deep venous access is established immediately and fluid replacement and anti-shock treatment are carried out quickly, which requires our nurses to have the puncture skills to hit the nail on the head. (2) Nurses in ICU should know all the rescues, especially the difficult operations with high technical requirements, such as the application of ventilators, fluidized beds, large-scale infrared therapeutic devices, and the use of large-scale instruments and equipment such as ECG monitors. (3) Memorize the rescue procedures of diseases, study hard, and constantly update their knowledge, so that all staff can achieve correct, timely and effective treatment, and avoid aggravating the illness due to improper operation of various nursing treatments. (4)ICU ward nurses should be steady, accurate, fast and busy, and each nurse should be able to independently undertake the division of labor and cooperation in organizing rescue. (5) The rescue records of critically ill patients in 5)ICU shall be rescued by special personnel. The handwriting should be clear and accurate, and medical terms should be applied. The successor must check this record in order to master the patient rescue situation and avoid medical disputes. (6)ICU nurses have a lot to learn and master. We should make use of every opportunity to keep learning and improving. In addition to the improvement of basic nursing operation, we should also master all kinds of nursing routines and treatment principles to achieve the goal of "all for the patients and all for the patients".

3 Necessary instruments, materials and medicines shall be kept by special personnel.

(1)ICU wards should be equipped with the most direct and effective rescue equipment. Every worker should use it correctly, check and maintain it regularly, and clean it in time for standby. (2) The large-scale instruments in 2)ICU wards should be carefully managed, registered and handed over strictly. General articles shall not be checked out without the permission of the director and head nurse, and medical instruments shall not be checked out without the approval of the medical department, so as not to affect the rescue use. (3)ICU ward should strictly manage the drugs in the first-aid cabinet, and hand over the drugs step by step, so as to achieve quantitative positioning, accurate access, timely replenishment and regular inspection of the validity period of drugs.
