China People's Liberation Army Medical College (formerly Military Medical College) was established in June 1958 1 1. It is the same institution with two names as the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, and it is one of the first units approved by the the State Council Academic Degrees Committee to award doctoral and master's degrees.

It not only undertakes the task of cultivating high-level clinical medical talents with postgraduate teaching as the main body, but also undertakes the tasks of medical treatment, health care and scientific research. 20 1 1 year, with the approval of the central military commission, the college was officially renamed as China People's Liberation Army Medical College.
