There are both raw coal hoppers and pulverized coal hoppers, which are the characteristics of the intermediate storage power station. All kinds of thermal power plants have raw coal hoppers to store coal sent from coal yards. After the coal from the raw coal hopper is sent to the coal mill to be ground into pulverized coal, most power plants directly blow it into the furnace with wind for combustion. However, some small and medium-sized power plants send the pulverized coal back to the pulverized coal hopper for storage, and then use the pulverized coal feeder to send the pulverized coal into the furnace.
