After thousands of years of glory, the once prosperous land and water terminal has suffered from long-term disorderly development, river pollution, excessive dredging and garbage siege, which has caused extremely serious ecological damage and geological hazards. In 2005 1 month, with the official start of Guangyuntan project, through the restoration of urban ecology, great attention was paid to the ecological impact in the construction. According to local conditions, the pit was regarded as a lake and the land as a continent, and the sand pit formed by illegal sand mining was reshaped, forming a good ecological landscape with islands in the lake, islands connected with continents, ponds in the continents, and ponds accumulated into deep pools. At the same time, major ecological control projects such as "Clear Water Project", "Yanming Lake Wetland Project" and "Taohuatan Ecological Control Project" were launched, which solved three major ecological disasters according to local conditions and restored the beautiful scenery of "Ba Shang Yan Liu Long Embankment" in Guang Yun Tan. Nowadays, the scene of "big water and big green" in Guangyuntan has been initially displayed. In an area about 6 kilometers long and 2.3 kilometers wide, it is divided into Bahe willow landscape zone, dynamic sightseeing landscape zone, ecological wetland tourism zone and tourism and holiday landscape zone from south to north, forming a layout of "one belt and three zones" and becoming an organic landscape as a whole. The great change of Guangyuntan from ecological destruction to ecological management is undoubtedly more and more typical of the times.
