This not only improves the cutting performance of the grinding wheel cutter, but also reduces the contact area between the end cutting edge of the grinding wheel and the machined surface of the workpiece, thus reducing friction and grinding heat.

2. Improve the cooling mode of grinding end face.

When grinding the end face, the contact area between the grinding wheel and the workpiece is larger than that when grinding the excircle, so it is difficult for the cooling nozzle used for grinding the excircle to spray cooling liquid into the grinding area of the end face, which makes the cooling condition of the CNC end face excircle grinder worse when grinding the end face and is easy to burn the end face. In order to improve this situation, a nearby nozzle can be installed in the upper and lower direction of the grinding position of the grinding wheel end face, so that enough cooling liquid can be injected into the grinding area during grinding, thus greatly improving the cooling and lubrication conditions of the grinding area.

3. When grinding the end face, properly increase the rotating speed of the workpiece.

The experimental results show that with the increase of workpiece speed, the grinding amount of end face increases proportionally. Because after increasing the rotation speed of the workpiece, the longitudinal feed of the workpiece per rotation is reduced, and the calorific value can be reduced; At the same time, the higher the speed of the workpiece, the shorter the contact time between the grinding wheel and the workpiece, and the faster the grinding area moves on the surface of the workpiece, which improves the grinding conditions.
