(4) Those who have studied traditional medicine for three years or have many years of practical medical skills, pass the examination and are recommended by traditional medical professional organizations or medical, preventive and health care institutions determined by the health administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level may take the qualification examination for practicing doctors or practicing assistant doctors. The time and method of registration for the examination of medical practitioners are as follows:

Online registration time: February-March every year. The specific time will be announced by the National Examination Center.

On-site registration time: March-April every year, and the specific time will be announced by the local health bureau.

The examination is divided into two levels and four categories, namely, practicing doctors and practicing assistant doctors; Each level is divided into four categories: clinical, traditional Chinese medicine, oral and public health.
