Methods/steps

Open the PS and the material and analyze it first. The contrast of this material is not strong enough, it looks gray, the skin is a little white and a little red, while men are generally masculine bronze and look more masculine. We can make it more textured in PS.

Copy a layer first, first adjust the contrast with curves (you don't need this if the contrast is good according to the actual situation), and give an S-shape to make the bright part brighter and the dark part darker.

Now use "optional color" to make his skin whiter or bronzed. You can adjust a lot of colors inside, and slowly adjust according to your own needs. One thing to note here is to change "relative" to "absolute".

Then use "color balance" to adjust, here we first "midtones", and then we can adjust "shadows and highlights" to open the contrast.

After adjustment, let's create a new "color saturation" layer, but don't rush to adjust it. Let's change the layer mode to soft light and pull out the contrast. The contrast may be too high at this time. You can change the opacity until it is appropriate.

But this step may also adjust other places. We only need a face contrast, choose the place we need with a lasso, give a feathering value, not too big, about 30 (it can be bigger or smaller according to your situation), and then reverse the selection and fill the selected area with black.

After adjustment, in order to widen the contrast, the background should be blurred and the main body should be highlighted. If it is a solid background, we can reduce the color saturation. We can use color saturation or brightness contrast to adjust it according to the situation.

Be patient when mixing colors and adjust slowly. This is the adjusted map.
